Our Modern Slavery Prevention Procedure
Introduction
The following statement sets out how Agallwal Properties understands all potential modern slavery risks related to its business operations and what actions it will take to ensure that there is no slavery or human trafficking in our business and supply chains.
The statement covers the activities of Agallwal Properties which operates as property services company, in the United Kingdom and is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, which relates to the actions and activities in the course of our company’s operating procedures.
Company Principles
Agallwal Properties, recognises our responsibility to implementing a robust approach to eliminating slavery and human trafficking. Our company is absolutely committed to ensuring that through its supply chains and general operating procedures, that we are actively taking measures to ensure both prevention and elimination of slavery and human trafficking in the UK.
In line with our company's stance on eliminating modern slavery, our Business Partners Code of Conduct sets out the principles and standards expected of all of our business partners to enable our business to operate responsibly and grow sustainably.
We expect all of our business partners to conduct their business operations based on integrity, honesty, openness, and fairness towards all stakeholders, including its employees, sub-suppliers, business partners, shareholders and any person who is involved or affected by the business activities.
This links intrinsically with our core values, which we expect all members of staff and business partners to abide by.
Due Diligence Process For Slavery
As part of our procedures to identify and mitigate any potential risks that may arise in the course of our operations we have systems in place to:
1. Identify and assess potential areas of risks in our supply chains, particularly in the most vulnerable parts of the world;
2. Mitigate the risk of slavery occurring in our supply chains;
3. Monitor potential risk areas in our supply chains;
4. Provide protection for Whistleblowers

Other Ongoing Commitments
As part of their provisions of services to our clients we require all of our business partners to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 as well as our code of conduct and report any incidents or suspected incidents of modern slavery to us immediately. We reserve the right to terminate our relationship with our business partners if they do not adhere to the Modern Slavery Act 2015, or if they breach our code of conduct.
As part of our approach to the identification of modern slavery risks and the actions that we undertake to work with the relevant authorities to both prevent and eradicate the problem of slavery and human trafficking operations, we undertake the following procedures:
Whistle Blowing Policy
We encourage all of our staff and associates to report any potential concerns or possible circumstances that they may have in relation to the direct activities, or the supply chain operations of our organisation, that may give rise to an enhanced risk of slavery or human trafficking.
Our company’s whistleblowing procedure is designed to make it easy for anyone associated with our company who may have concerns about slavery and human trafficking operations to make disclosures in confidence, without fear of retaliation.
Company Operation Standards
Our operation standards set out clearly to our staff, and associates alike the actions and behaviour that we expect from them in relation to representing our organisation. We strive to maintain the highest possible standards of conduct and ethical behaviour within our operation and supply chain procedures at all times.
Recruitment/Agency Operatives
On the occasions that we require the assistance of external operatives through employment and labour agencies to assist us in the delivery of our services for our clients, then we only engage with specified, reputable employment agencies to source the required labour and we always verify the practices of any new agencies we engage with before accepting workers from that agency.
Business Partners Code Of Conduct
We are committed to ensuring that our business partners adhere to the highest standards of ethics at all times, by requiring them to act in accordance with the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015, or any similar laws in the countries that they carry out their business operations in.
We also work with our business partners to ensure that they are meeting the required standards of our code of conduct by ensuring that they improve their employee's working environment as well as their health and safety practices with the utmost urgency, as well as their human rights needs been to an international standard.
We expect them to treat their workers with dignity, integrity, respect, and acting ethically within the labour laws at all times, thus ensuring no employee or individual working in any supply chain is being unfairly exploited.
Any serious violations of our code of conduct will lead to the immediate termination of our business relationship with our business partners and potential legal action ensuing.
